Learning to rap at home by yourself.

hi, i want to learn how to rap but none of my friends rap. i was wondering if i can learn at home all alone in my room. i tried it before but it feels awkward af talking to yourself.
i recorded my first rap and i haven't written a rap song since but i think i got what it takes since i ve been writing poetry and rap for a long time.

do you have any advice for me?

my main problem is i feel stupid when i mess up, i hate failure but i know i got to learn to get used to it because it's part of learning.
