To be completely happy, something with music. It's been that way since I was about 13-14. Before that, I can't really remember. Music took over lol.

First an engineer that designs cars, then something in music probably a mixing engineer.

Now, I'm a purchaser/do-it-all for a reference lab.

Yeah, true. I knew a few people that went to work for graphic firms, after our degree. But they had in connections with the peoples. I dont know anyone. so need to whore myself out more.

Mostly I have worked with print based publication. so aiming to something to do with that. But I do all sorts of things.

Got a bachelor of media arts. all is going to plan so far. Its not a concrete plan, but its a good direction for me.

I don't mind the stress. I turn stress into productivity. love making art. deadlines just make me work harder.

Going through a solid research phase right now. watching loads n loads of movies an documentarys, reading loads n loads of comics n litrature. my whole life has turned into research and how i can use XXXx idea in my work.

I also work in the back room at the waikato times newspaper as a casual. Get to bag the paper for the next day and knock up inserts. Its all good cause i get to see their printing process close up.

Word, I think the most stressful part for my friends always seems to be dealing with clients. You make up 10 different designs, then they kind of like one, so you make up 10 more based off that one, and then they want to completely switch the design around and don't want to pay for all the work you did. They just want to pay for the one design they settle on.

I would be terrible at that job lol. I'd bitch at people daily.

Yeah, the non artists who want art, can be a pain in the ass. They dont seem to be 100% on the same wavelength. Its not like art just appears like i assume they think. we have to sit down and plan.

But in the end of the day if the client is happy. im happy. even though i probably could have spent longer on it and honestly dont exactly like it. I accept that i guess its good enough if someone else likes it. ha.
