you know on some tracks, rather than change the lyrics entirely they just kinda scramble the curse words??? so the curse words sound backwards kinda... anyone know how to do that??? I wanna make some edited versions that my kids can listen to... I don't curse around them, so I don't need them hearin' that shit...
they just reverse the recording. you do it differetly depending on which program you use.

in most programs there is usually a function where you would highlight the part you want to edit and reverse it in your sequencer. There are also reverse fx plugins too.
