Someone in my class tried to explain somthing like this to me.
He had a casset player that he could input to his mixer then his mixer to his USB turntable then from the USB turntable to his pc

take a cassette tape player... hook the out (headphone out is acceptable) to a in or mic in... on your interface... open up your daw... press record on the daw... press play on the cassette tape player... and viola... it records. THEN... this is where it gets tricky... save the file... as the song name... and then open it in whatever you use to chop samples... and BANG... chop.
Why do people think this shit is hard... it's common sense... you're just doing way to much.

That was for live performance through a PC whilst still using the casset though aslong with the turntable

even so... still stupid. what'd be smart would be... running the mixer to the pc... by itself... running the cassette through that... than buying a REAL turntable... not a usb... and running that through the mixer... oh fuck nevermind

The mixer wasnt usb and he was running a laptop since its portable (whoah no one knew this before) so it had no audio inputs

mixer didn't have to be usb... I didn't say it was... but... there is always atleast ONE audio input on any computer... but whatever works.

i duno what the wire is called but it's simply that wire out of your headphone/speakr out socket and into your laptop. press record and play the clip u need.
