Virus in H2O Cubase?

I need Cubase on my laptop so I decided to just use the h2o version I had from a while ago... Now Ive installed it 2 of my firewalls are saying it contains a virus :S This happened before too on my main PC before I got the dongle.
Does anyone else have h2o cubase 3 or 4? And have the same problem?
Even my shitty firewall detected it which leads me to believe its a very obvious virus

P.S. This happened with the CD I bought for like $5 AND 2 fucking h2o downloads... Although it says theres a "virus" it isnt trying to run a connection :S

It was on a cd I bought from ebay aswell... The guy had 100% positive feedback (most of them were from him selling copies of programs). Im sure it was 5 or 6k feedback too :S
I scanned everything with several firewalls and some showed it to be a virus and some never. I never knew a .dll file could even be a virus to be honest lol
Well I deleted each version anyway and scanned everything and my laptops fine. Weird thing is that thats the main protection device for Cubase to run and it doesnt run without it. Maybe the firewalls were picking up that its trying to run as a device or something? I wish I knew more about PCs and programming

i googled the file and it's definitely a virus. That doesn't mean that he knew about it.

Hmmm its simply just because no one else got it from the CDs he was making AND it was in the fucking versions (yes, plural) I downloaded. I just want Cubase on my laptop
Id take the dongle out my pc but it fucks everything up when I put it back in the USB drive... It doesnt get detected properly unless I keep it in for some reason.
Anyways the dongles are only about $50 now so I may aswell get another 1. Does the same 1 work for Cubase 4? I heard it does

nevermind man. it can be used as malware but not always. It IS a virus but not in the sense that we're used to hearing. It's safe.

Everyone installing the program gets this "false-positive" and its from the same TWO (rofl, everyone has the same firewalls as me) virus scanners/firewalls that I use.

Damn... its really dope aswell. A couple of pcs in college got Cubase 4 but the majority have SX3. I sat in the wrong place lol
