If you go to my soundclick you can listen to some of my beats with somthing like that... I heard how Just Blaze introduced "No More Fun And Games" on The Documentary and I liked how it sounded so I kinda emulated it but without biting... I just combined some synths with some effects and got what I got...

I remember back in the day I used "Virtual DJ" with my usb turntable... There was that sound either in that program or another program called "Atomix" (Im sure it was spelled like that). Both are free on download.com
