With my tires deteriorating, the Michelins were prone to tread water
sparks glistened from the engine and began to surged outta order
I extended my arm, but the Class C fire extinguisher was unreachable
SO, I refastened my seat belt, tried to recline but the seat stalled
Decreasing the blaze was difficult, as a gradually increased in speed
Ferious, I cluth the wheel & entered the Pit Stop to meet my needs
With the speed deceased, the mechanics rotated the wheels to dim the fire
Exchanged the Michelins for Good Years, & mounted the silver rims on tires
Inside the gearbox, rusted metal was welded ontop of the worn bolts
the mechanic gave me an estimate, despite quoting the price faults
With the car back ontrack, I seemed to be 3 laps behind in the race
Therefore I gutted the ignition, denying I would accept finishin last place
White smoke spit from my tailpipe, & I continued to max the cars limits
3 hungry young ones at home, no way I'm leaving this race unfinished
Passing the comp with ease, I graced #34 as he derailed & hit the sidelines
He threw the helmet to the ground, furious that he was denied the win sign
I gradually enclosed on the 4th place, my focus was on the Kodak CAR, #9
While sunlight refracted off the Spinners, direct contact can hurt ur eyes
The motor abused absertive power, merkin power, power that denied losses
Power that can't be bought, even if you purchased the best N.O.S.'s
With the white flag raised, I manuevered my vehicle into the 3rd position
Not going home ended handed, even if I crashed my car & woke up in stitches
With pressure on the gas, I smashed the button that release nitrous oxide
& crashed into the #2 car, wounds opened that cant be healed by peroxide
