I think I liked more than half the tracks on here...so that to me is a good cd in a time when alot of cd's have just 2 or 3 decent tracks.
My faves were...Black Girl Pain and of course Around My Way.

that album was hot talib is nice.he needs to drop more shit though
I agree. I love Talib Kweli. He is starting to expand his audience, though. My favorite songs were We Know, Ghetto Show, and Black Girl Pain.Originally Posted by UrbanDOX
His lyrics outshine the beats. These days u really do need the beat to go along with it. Im sure broken glass has great story but the beat is annoying. Kweli is tight but some songs didnt have great beats. But black girl pain, around my way, We know, never been in love are songs i like the most. I try was ok to me.

4.0 outta five liked the song i try and the one wit john legend overall a good album due to all that good music but some were kinda borin but still aight
the beats were pretty weak especially the one with faith evans, sounded like something you'd hear in your local walmart, the lyricism itself was nothing special in comparison with kwe's previous releases, Quality>Beautiful Struggle by a hell of a lot IMO
