This was a strong battle with both participants bring good punches. I thought both had good intro setup lines that linked to the 2nd line very well. I felt that the tenure / professor wordplay was strong, but the look up to me / idolize was play was a tad bit stronger.

Miracle’s was very creative and well put together. Personally ain’t wasn’t so keen on King’s bar, seems like it was going for a double entendre but it only works one way (‘his idol lies’ is fine but ‘his idolise’ doesn’t make sense grammatically, surely that should be ‘he idolises’?)

Kings concept was alright but the literal way of idolise a lot doesn’t really make sense. Miracles was alright, flip was clever liked a two word flip, was worded slightly awkwardly but I don’t think there is a smooth way to word that and all things considered executed the flip well

Both were well set up. Both were light Jabs. For me the difference was KDBs wordplay was smoother, whereas w/ Mirs I can't ignore the fact that pre tenure doesn't have the "d" sound to really work as pretend ur. It's close, but so is this battle, so I'm forced to nitpick the nuances. Respect to both.
I've got Mir here.. both wordplays didn't read smooth syntactically. I thought pre tenure was a better worded concept and more original. Here. Not a blowout but got the edge
