Top 5: Power Rankings
1.) Useless
Yeah I put myself at the top, fuck u talkin bout lol. I won last season, beating aero, Letterman and alpha dog in the playoffs. I beat a who's who of top tier txtcees last season as well including junto, galactic, onslaught, smog and Letterman again lol. All this while modding the league and writing mags every week. I've beaten quite a few top tier dudes at NC as well.
2.) Letterman
Dudes nice with it. His undefeated streak last season included winning the LLL title and defending it quite a few times. He's got slick wp and in every verse he's good for a banger or two. He's also really consistent, rarely does he have a wack line that completely misses. He tried his hand at NC was robbed by a bunch of played name flips. If he can keep from recycling I see him having the same sucess this season he had last season.
3.) Unfukwitable
I'm still pissed he beat me at NC in that bathroom tourney. And I'm still pissed me and him were robbed in the tag tourney here by joog'n and bash. We was robbed bad. Unfuk a beast, his concepts are second to none. Sometimes he gets a little Joe bostony with his wording tho and his flips can be underwhelming. I could see him getting that LLL champ accomp this season if he doesn't ns and stays consistent.
4.) Cred
The gunbar king. He's got a url style but with a little more wit added in. I usually don't like that style but somehow he pulls he off. He can get a lil repetitive with his concepts tho, but he's produced a couple of legendary lines that people still quote and talk about to this day.
5.) Smog
Smog was one of 3 people (me and muff were the other two) who battled EVERY week last season producing quality verses and getting to a title match twice. He just couldn't get over that last hurdle and champ. He's the king of personals, occasionally he can get too statementish tho with no real flip and people started frowning on that, but I personally think they're dope. As long as its harsh as fuck and has a little bit of wit put into it. If he's battling someone that has no history here or an alias he's usually lost tho lol.
Honorable Mentions
Fresh: he's elevated quite a bit in the past few months and gotten pretty good with wordplay. I could see him making some noise this season.
Kenny the G: Kenny was a monster in txt a few years ago. He champed lll a few times iirc and beat the best of the best. He's got a few hof battled if u wanna go check em out. He's rusty tho and he's been playing around with a few different styles and his wording. If he gets his mojo back, watch out cuz he's prob gonna tear thru the league and anyone in his way.

The main thing is that text battlers aren't taking it as serious as they use to. Cats use to sign up in the league to prove their worth no matter who their e-homies were, or if the league or tourney had money involved. Now it seems cats cant commit to completing the season. Always crying about hate votes, clique votes, and bullying. If you got it, then show it. best way to get it back is to have vets give detailed votes for the new cats. Pass on the knowledge and guidance. I'd beat Bruce Lee's ass if it wasn't for his training. We gotta do the same thing. Each vet start a crew of newbs, train em, and watch the culture thrive.
