I'll get right to the point. This is a writing clinic on emotion, imagery, diction and several other literary elements. Combining opposites, Fire and Water, they portray a sort of sexual experience, describing how one can complete the other. Hints of 'climaxing' is shown not only by the development of the story, but also how the comparisons, metaphors and similes just keep building until the end. The meter and structure are solid, etc. One may say this isn't an original concept, or the language 'drags on', but I would say the quality of writing more than makes up for any of these negatives. For the record, I believe it's pretty original and doesn't drag on, but just throwing everything out there. Read it with an open mind, look at the people/quality of the critiques and I think you'll agree this deserves a place in Legends. Thanks in advance for reading and voicing your opinion.
