COM killed it with his second bar, tbh. Mystery spit nice, COM dropped nice, overall one of the better battles I've seen.
Don't know what else I can say about it... It deserves legends

i'm really close voting yes, but i'm not going to. reason being i didn't like a few of coms bars, mainly shit towards the end. i assumed every concept was fresh, since it was years ago, but still some bars missed to me. these for example;

just kinda come off a little soft IMO. Mysterys verse was stuffed with dope personals, the only negative thing i can say about MMs shit was that it didnt have enough clever shit in it. it was just personal after personal, which is dope but for it to have made up for Coms verse it would have had to do a little more.

I'm gonna vote yes on this. Although I see what King was saying, I don't think EVERY bar needs to hit for it to be legendary, especially since this battle is a little old so perhaps some of those concepts worked better back then. but this was dope, lots of personals and dope lines coming through, and both had verses that were almost all hits with a number of haymakers. so I vote yes

I thought I voted on this. I'm going to have to mull it over a bit more for the same reasons King gave. I don't know who won but personally feel MM's verse more. Maybe just a style preference with the personal approach. Com had the hardest hits but also quite a few punches that weren't good. MM was more consistent but less eye popping bars. It's a really good battle. Definitely LLL HoF worthy, but I'm not sure about legendary. I'll edit a decision in a bit

Reading some previous shit from then, this battle definitely sticks out. The wording issues and whatnot were consistent with the time.

The first 5 bars on COMS were crazy hot, however fresh concept or not, the wording was off and the bars were lack luster from that point on. I think the fact that he came so hard in the beginning diluted the rest of his piece.

Mystery was dope throughout, I would have like to see a few more punchlines, but his flow was dope and he had a message with each line, Def. one of the best battle verses I have seen could easily go into audio with the same effect.

Overall It was dope but IMO its a NO because of COMS verse, Hof but legendary drops or at least the ones I read need to be beyond writing, its a pure concept, flawless delivery, and a great rhyme scheme. COMS verse lacked consistency...

Com and Murdera are two battlers who had their run on RB. Both found their styles, and made as much of it as possible. This battle in particular IMO was nice. Definitely a solid read, nice personals, consistent punches and of course good flow. With no question, this is a legendary. It may not be the style of today, but when the battle happened it was the style that was preferred. Those who say no, probably were not around at that time and do not understand the style. But being a member in that time, I can understand it and appreciate it.
