    Red ring of death? NO..red dot of death!!!

    The Xbox 360 Slim which was announced and released during this year’s E3 might already be having problems.

    Images have been discovered on a Forum showing an Xbox 360 Slim with what is believed to be the “Red Dot of Death”. The Forum, NeoGaf has not confirmed whether or not the images are 100% real, but the images posted show one of the Xbox 360 Slim with the RDOD, and another image showing the error message on the Dashboard.

    it might be a safety thing. Shuts itself down before it gets too hot. So it'll work but you have shut it off for awhile.

    Information needs to come out about exactly everything the person who took the pics did to the Xbox, how long they played, and when did they get it till when it crashed.

    ^^ all of thats good info that needs to be answered exactly.

    Information needs to come out about exactly everything the person who took the pics did to the Xbox, how long they played, and when did they get it till when it crashed.

    Not really. We're all aware of the xbox failure rate. Why would anyone believe this couldnt happen to a more compact version of the system?

    I had to get my xbox modded and fixed JUST for the Red Ring of Death not to happen.
