Unfortunately this was the first Eyedea & Abilities album I ever bought, I wanna check out their older stuff.

Eyedea's on some wannabe Rock-Rap nerd shit.

Not my consensus. I thought the new album was brilliant. definitely a different direction but much needed IMO. E&A was pretty wack. Only tracks I liked were Now, Paradise and Glass. The rest just seemed lackluster or was filler to me. By The Throat is mad more complete and thought out. I mean just his delivery in Spin Cycle is much more mature and developed, infact his delivery throughout the album is on point. So dynamic.

I think the new album shows progression. More cohesive of an album. Burn Fetish is on some dope ish with the build ups.

This album demands multiple listens. It's pretty dense, but accessible enough to nod your head to.

DUDE!!! thats exactly what im saying... those were the best songs on E&A... AND HAVE YOU HEARD THE ACTUAL SONG BY THE THROAT.. THAT SONG IS AMAZING!!!... beautiful lyrics... really good metaphors... and a ton of emotion... perfect
