i see it all the time in these misleading signs always had shit all like well thats just fine
never expect much at christmas time i should of been preying put my wishlist aside
witness the lies thinking trials were true drying my eyes when they never came through
i was young and dumb what was i supposed to do
draining the pain taking drugs with my crew
shit i admit ive made a mistake or two
even got addicted quickly its what created me
distorted reports of the thoughts they hated you
didint have as much as them so they degraded you
never remain the same from what they say to you
increasing the thoughts of violence that came to you

i used to be happy kicking back with friends but now it seems like i cant relax again
im trying to climb out from these traps im in hope i dont fall back and collapse within
ive got a question and i'll ask it again why do we try if no ones listening
why do we try to rise above the skies if we're happy at home where the heart lies maybe we arent but we just dont realise maybe the hards are just a part of real life
maybe these scars just wont heal right and lately giving up is what i feel like
im never giving up i'll never give in im always getting up for as long as im living
a better position than i have ever been in i stay up all night to write the things i dream in
