Halo Wars should not even be considered a game of the Halo franchise. It's Warcraft III with Halo models.

and as far as that franchise goes Halo:CE > Halo 3 > everything else > Halo 2

Why shouldn't it be? It's based on Halo, it tells a seperate part of the story. It's just an alternate genre that covers the requirements of the 'Halo' theme pretty well, with the units, their upgrades and pretty much all the in-game stuff. The thing I don't like is how lazy the Base system seems to be. I can't stand strategy games where you only get to build on a certain plot, or around a certain area. I like to expand and build my shit all over.
And also, there's a few flaws with the maps, as they pretty much all have glitch spots, even in campaign I've found a good few.

i liked halo 2 more then any other halo game...and halo wars is fun...BUT the only bad thing about it is that it makes me want to play halo 3...actually get in there on the action then just watching it play out...ima RTS nut so i dig the shit out of it...

It was a drag, but it was for a bet. An on going bet. I've completed it at least 250 times, that's not counting the good few times from before the bet. I don't ever want to play campaign on Halo 2 ever, ever again.

And I say the re-playability was shit, because after the first few times, hardest difficulty, I just didn't have any soul left. I know where every single trip-spawn is, I know pretty much every single second of that game. I just know. I don't even see the visuals any more, I just see the matrix.
