im looking on craigslist to buy a decent car for fairly cheap. like...under $5,000.
anyone know of a kind of car that runs good, looks good, but normally sells for under that amount?
right now im lookin at dodge intrepids and chevy impalas (90's)
would like a caprice classic but i cant find anything decent for under $5,000.
any opinions on what i should look into?
try some hondas or something iono lol
A bit older of a car would be less money, But new enough to not be a classic car or what not

Im just thankfull i found my jeep in town. The lady just put like 3000-5000 dollars into it and then sold it to me for 1 grand. It was cool an all...But the paint sucks and my e-brake sticks hella hard. I still got the better end of the deal though

i'd like to get something that looks decent and runs well.
i dont want a rust bucket or any shit like that...so as long as it's not, im pretty much down for any car.
i also have to fit in it lol...im 6'7'' so i dont fit the best in alot of cars
lol...lol My Izuzu Tropper just has a giant rust spot on just the passanger door, Other then that the paint is just fading so it isnt much of a rust bucket

I was gunna get a Toyota Supra that was sexy as hell for a REALLY good price...But it sold before I could get ahold of the guy selling it. He showed me an RX7 that he has...But it only has 1 seat and is customized to almost always be raced...So that was a no.
Everything goes right...I'm hoping to get an Infiniti G35 for a good price. Or a Lexus IS300 for a good price.

don't get an Intrepid, they're trash... I worked in the parts department at a Dodge dealership for 4 years... now I work in the parts department at a Ford dealership, been here 2 years... if you need info on any cars by either of these brands let me know...
I would look at Camrys, Accords, Subaru Imprezas, Jeep Cherokees, or Toyota pickups... you seem like too big of a dude to roll a Civic or somethin' smaller...

i've had a '98 Ford Explorer now for about 4 years...Its the best vehicle i've ever owned as far as reliablity goes...
I've owned a Maxima, a Celica, a Prelude, and a few chevy trucks, and this Ford Explorer, RELIABILITY wise, is the best so far...its never left me stranded and i've never had to pay over 200 bucks for any kind of part...It gets shitty gas milage, but its never broken down and left me stranded...
shit...you could get it NOW for 5 gs...auto, push button 4X4, power everything, brand new tires....
