A path was lit, to show us the way, but the door has been closed,
So I just sit, watching the world decay, through the peephole

Bright lights flashin', Lighting the world, it's like magic
So much passion, even though, the traffic tonight's havoc
Siren sounds to the east, the sound of a gun -blows-

Media images, celebs are needy, their gimics
Are like seeds, planted, just for feeding the cynics
We bare slogans on our T's, stay focused on our 'cheese'

i loved the emotion in this. it flowed really well and the word choice was different from what you usually use, your shortest lines were your weakest and though some of your lines seemed stretched it worked because thats how the majority of your verse was set.

Dope. i like this verse my nigga. This shit was fluid to me. Kept my attention throughout with proper timing on when to drop the metaphors and similes and when to be overtly simple. That's what defines a skilled writer from the beginning's. keep going, and you'll be legendary. AI FOREVER NIGGA!

this verse was sick wit, it was smooth as all hell. the flow and rhymescheme was strong with the imagery, you put the world in my pocket for a minute lol, it started of with some real sick description. the whole feel of the piece was ill man, i zoomed right through it. the line about the T shirt slogans as a dilusion that the world isnt on its knees really stuck.
