Thought Provoking-
I have never understood life.
It’s purpose, it meaning, it’s joys,
I’ve never understood that thing
Between girls and boys.
I’ve never understood why anything.

I have tried to understand faith,
Philosophy, belief, love and hope,
It all just seems wishful thinking
Illusions to help you cope
With a complete lack of meaning.

So here I sit wasting time,
Finding small distractions
Whilst waiting to die.
I pretend to care,
Pointless words and interactions
Searching vainly in ungainly life
For something of real value
But I find only one thing to be true-

All of existence
Our raging, our works, our world
is but a futile pretence,
And even love, our greatest treasure
Is but a foolish, fleeting pleasure,
And even heaven, should it exist
Offers no meaning only a catalyst
For further endurance of being.

So here I sit wasting time
With the greatest questions
But no expectations,
While waiting to die.

The last piece was better, but this was still a really good read. Wording was itchy in a few sentences. Placement wise mostly. Choice of words though was well on point. Imagery was cool, not as good as before but still mindbottling. The emotion lacked some, but was still up to par. Nice read, could've been better but still enjoyed it. Keep writing.

I see you still haven't fully grasped the concept of poetry yet lol. It's the truth though, this piece is by far better than the last. But I thank you for feeding this piece.
