    Cable TV Dilemma

    So some of you know that I just got a cable box with Tivo built into it.

    The conflict lies here...

    The new cable box is blocking my some channels including my favorites: Spike TV for UFC, USA for WWE, Sci-fi for ECW, Comedy Central for everything, etc...

    However, it's giving my access to every premium movie channels that I'm not paying for... HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, Encore, STarz, etc...

    My question to you is... Do I call them and tell them the problem so they'll fix this, or just keep watching the premium channels for free while sacrifising my old favorite line-up?

    Yes, that is a good point. I'll probably only watch special events, occasional movies that I missed, and Real Sex.

    Is that worth missing The Ultimate Fighter, WWE Raw, Chappelle Show, South Park, etc?

    or
    shows that only come on once a week
    id say thats a fairly easy decision

    I can store all my favorite shows and watch them whenever I want on this thing. So I don't have to watch them when they are on, which is good. I see what you mean by once a week though. Not much.

    I DO have a choice of like 40-50 movies at a time to watch at any instant with the premium channels... Hmmmm... Although most of them seem to repeat alot.

    Chappelle's show itself is not worth sacrificing for. You probably got the premium channels over some promotional offer for 3 months or something anyways, you better get that other shit back.

    Nah, I had this account for a long time. If they gave me promo it would be like one group of premium, not all of them.

    The reason why it's doing this is because the machine doesn't have all the info from my account. If I reset the converter box, it will probably go back to no premium and my basic cable back.
