The album that made you fall in love with hip hop ?

To me, I have alot of answers, Illmatic being the first album that made me want to rap, but the album that really made me fall in love with hip hop truly, was
Raekwon- Only Built 4 Cuban Linx.

to me, that is a masterpiece, and RZA's beats are so cinematic and just crazy, and Rae and Ghost are just so on point throughout, No Weak Songs, No Bullshit, Just a rap album how it should be done.

The Chronic was the 1st album I ever bought. The album that made me a fan was Ready To Die.

Illmatic made me fall in love with hip hop.

Reasonable Doubt taught me about charisma and made me want to rap.

    The Infamous...
    Disposable Arts
    Resurrection
    The Train Of Thought
Made me remember why i fell in love with hip hop in the first place.

I'm still waiting to get that feeling again, i think recently the two albums that came closest to bringing me back to the essence of hip hop are A Long Hot Summer and The Listening, i miss that feeling...

I had always listened to hip hip on the radio or whenever someone in my family or one of my brothers friends played it....but really got into it in 1999/2000 with the releases of the MMLP, Dr. Dre 2001 & Vol. 3 Life & Times of S. Carter.

Really the newer albums that brought me back to the falling in love shit, have been Masta Killa- No Said Date, just grimy Wu, and Atmosphere's Overcast

    Well...

way back I worked when I was like 10 or some shit, doing bullshit like raking leaves and shit for neighbors, for a few weeks, so I could buy a CD player. I ended up with like $130 or some shit, and when I bought the discman I only had like $10 left over, so I got some EP with Snoop Dogg & Dre...some singles off the Chronic and shit. That's what first got me interested, but without question the first time I heard Ready to Die is when shit got real.
