I found this on the net...I dunno who wrote it...
Biography Of Joe C.
"You know him as the J-O-E to the C hoe but the "C" actually stands for Calleja. Thats right, his real name is Joseph Calleja. Born on November 9, 1974 in Taylor, Michigan. Joesph Calleja later became known as Joe C, the man who's 3 Foot 9 with a 10 foot dick. He used to come to Kid's concerts in Detroit and then one time he got backstage by telling Kid that he was with The Make A Wish Foundation and asked Kid if he wanted to smoke a joint, and it went from there. Kid Rock bought Joe a karaoke machine for Joe to practice at home and he did and he made up some real good rhymes. He was great at Woodstock providing such rhymes as "SUCK IT" and "Peace Out Motherfuckers". His backing vocals rule and create an element in songs that has never been heard before. His most famous song to date is "Kyle's mom is a big Fat Bitch." But he also does a really good solo in Devil Without A Cause. Joe C. suffered from celiac disease, a chronic digestive disorder which caused him to take up to 80 pills a day. And was also on a dialasis machine which is a machine that cleans the toxins and poisons out of your blood when your body can not. The disease also kept Joe C. from growing any taller than 3" 9'. Even though he suffered from this disease Joe C. always seemed full of life. He had a way to put a smile on my face whenever I watched him perform or just an interview. I never had the chance to meet Joe C. But he will always be in my heart. I want to thank Bob Puckett, Joe C's cousin for this information". Thanks a lot.
May Joe C. rest in peace and he will always be loved in our hearts.
So...I noticed, I dunno if ya'll did...
But didn't Kid Rock pretty much drop hip hop from his act/persona after Joe's death?
He seems to be all country rock now...blah!
I know that biography makes it out to be that Kid was hip hop before they met...but I dunno...Joe C dies...and so does the hip hop from Kid's show...his record sales...his 15 minutes of fame...it all seems gone now???
What do you think?
