Whats good....Im working with an adk a-51 yamaha102 and emu1212m and m-audio dx4 mons... I kno the mons could be alot better but im acually happy with my mixes. Im just looking for a little cleaner and a little more open sound. Please list your thoughts Thanks.

trying to keep it around 300...i kno its not much but thats what i have
focusrite trackmaster is nice. the breakout box for the emu 1212m is nice too. its only $200 i think. it offers more than just a preamp. it adds more in/outputs. its a nice interface. if you dont want an interface with extra inputs then get the trackmaster. I prefer the focusrite's sound but both are very decent.
Thanks man....I ended up getting the focusrite trackmaster very pleased with the sound...It added alot more openess to my set up....warm and clean...still getting use to the compression and eq though.
id only use the eq to roll off the low frequency. and i'd go easy on the compression. u can always tweak the compression in your DAW.
