X-Board,..
aight i copped an X-board a long ass time ago....and all ive used it for is the knobs and the keys themselves....but i got a few questions about other things on it...
what exactly is the patches for?? what do they do??? are they even useful enough to worry about??
and the master volume slide....dosent work on my master volume, how can i get it to??? and is it possible to use the slide as a midi controller??
theres a button that says snap shot....fuck is that about??
and last, is there sopme sort of chart online somewhere, that brea=ks down the midi chart....what number is assigned to what keys??? got a few plug-ins i wanna use, but its hard to do without knowing the numbers to the keys...
and before somebody comes in and says "www.google.com"....yeah i know...i could just research it....but id rather have somebody that already knows what theyre talkin about, tell me, if they want to, rather than tryin to figure out shit for myself, that might not even be worth knowing...
oh and by the way, i lost the manual to it...so thats why im here asking...

are you using it with FL?
if so, there is an auto detect feature in fl, right click on any slider or knob in fl and choose auto detect (or something close to that) and then move the slider or knob on your Xboard and it'll hook up. that is a way to hook up the master volume if you are using FL.

nah...it wont do that with the slider....ive tried....only with the knobs, pitch wheel and mod wheel....

maybe the slider is broken?

^^^could be.....but it still changes the numbers on the LCD screen....so i dont think so...its straight though...someone told me they got a manual online for download....
