I am not who you think I am
I am not a picture or a pentagram
I am unexpected expectations concealed revelations
I am chiseled under this fat
Wisdom behind the laughter
My excellence only goes to the median
Only to hide my true weapons when I need to display disobedience
My ingredients don't have origins
My fortitude is underground
I'm so underground that my inner soul is under bounds
Confined to a bottomless pit for protection
This world cannot fathom the modules I have computating my existence
Rewriting DNA so I can be untraceable
The face you see hides the faceless caper
Remember remember the 20th of November
I cause vivisections into inquiries
Only a few can get near me and clearly I invented social distancing
My grin is menacing
My talent hides the dismay
I write this because I think that yall ok
I only write this because I think that yall OK

I will die knowing that this world knows not about the true me…

Quite a honest poem and as someone that considered myself generally misunderstood it resonated with me a bit. Think it started well, dropped off in the middle a little then ended strong

:) Intriguing. It left me asking "OK, so *what* are you?" The piece opens as an attempt to explain who you are and glories in the mystery of the impossibility of finding that answer. Personally it read a bit recklessly--sheer self-praise, without a destination. Perhaps because I'm looking for a sort of resolution when a poem begins as your did.
