you'll want a metal pop filter for sure... I would next recommend a decent interface... my first suggestion would be the M-Audio ProFire 610... a good set of closed ear headphones for recordin'... that would hold you over till you have a better understandin' of the process and what it takes to improve...
get sony MDR 7506 headphones
interface wise i would just go with an MBOX 2 and use the shit outta plug ins
you dont need a mixer
but get a pop filter lol

you might then want to get some plug ins and look at sound treatment
that should get you going
which items you choose is entirely dependant on budget
